NextGenPath Diagnostics on an average handles more than 500 native and allograft renal biopsies a year.
Renal pathology is a sub-speciality of Histopathology that deals with diseases of native and allograft kidney.
Renal biopsy interpretation requires an expert renal pathologist, a panel of special stains and immunoflourescence with or without immunohistochemistry, ultrastructural and molecular studies.
Method of sending the biopsy to our lab: two cores of adequate length (1.5 to 2cm) from a 16G needle in 10% neutral buffered formalin and Michel's transport medium.
The renal biopsy kit containing the fixatives will be provided from our lab.
2.5% buffered glutaraldehyde for electron microscopy will be provided at request.
Samples are received 24x7 on all days.

Learning is a continuous process and we believe that teaching and publishing relevant research are the greatest contributions to the society apart from our patient care services.
NextGenPath Archives serves as an excellent freely available online resource for case-based learning of renal pathology.
